Involving Users & Involving Product Teams

Lean UX Testing in Practice

It's not only about engaging users, but also about engaging product teams! We aim to create a holistic product understanding – this means taking the challenge to combine both, the user perspective AND the teams’ own view on their product.

Our approach involves product teams in the entire process of Lean UX Testing: rather than only consuming insights and results, they take an active part.
Benefits: 1. Product teams learn to engage with their users in a „secure“ and facilitated way. 2. Involvement creates ownership & the ability to turn testing insights into coordinated action. 3. Participation throughout the process creates valuable insights for us. After all, our clients are our users – we need to understand their context, concerns and needs.

Being advocates of both, user and product team perspective, involves translating and balancing different views – almost like being diplomats.
We want to share our approach with a real-life example.
