3 questions are leading our way to innovation: Is a new idea technological feasible? Is it viable? And last but not least: Will users really desire the idea? The desirability is what drives the area of usability-design. Organizations realized that desirability can’t be neglected when developing products. Getting direct feedback of users shortens the development time and creates products that are more valuable to new customers. To come up with innovative desirable solutions means you need a deeper understanding of the person you are designing for. This deeper understanding is based on empathy. To develop new solutions empathy research is based on interesting insights from single users not from a representative mass. Often extreme users and their needs lead us to exciting new solutions. Within our workshop participants learn how work empathetic in a practical way. The new methods can be integrated in the daily work life right away.
